Hi Lisa, I wonder if you need booksuggestions for the children or for their parents.
A wonderful picture book for children is:
Zen Shorts by Jon J. Muth, Stillwater a giant panda, tells children 3 classic Zen stories that abound with enlightenment and love.
Relax Kids by Marneta Viegas, Fairytale meditations for children
Meditation for Kids (and other beings) by laurie Fisher Huck (picture book)
Books on how to teach children to meditate:
Sensational Meditation for Children (A complete guide to child-friendly meditation based on the five senses) by Sarah Wood
Meditating with Children (The art of Concentration and Centering) by Deborah Rozman.PhD.
Your Blog looks great . Good Luck !!

I wish mothers could find a way to connect with each other and their children locally to share the spiritual path. My daughter learned the hard way early on, that she cannot share all of her spiritual beliefs and gifts with her classmates.
Does anyone know of any groups or ways to meet?
Mountains Meadows and Moonbeams by By Mary Summer Rain is a good book.
Also:
Sara Book II by Abraham I believe. We can’t find it right now but those are good books for kids around the age of 10.

Amy, thanks so much for sharing those books, I am always on the lookout for more. As for the community thing, I know it is a challenge. I have been trying to crack this nut myself – if you have beliefs that are at all unorthodox, it can be tough. I am trying to create my own little community, mom by mom…sorry I can’t help more…
